Okay then how is JioExtender as an option? As it is pretty cheap as compared to the others, I was thinking of connecting it to the ONT via Ethernet instead of WiFi. Any experience?

@Starman , Its always better to have a wired backhaul.

Among wireless mesh, some (tri band) have a dedicated 5ghz channel for the backhaul. This is the better option, though its more expensive.

Asus routers support mesh. TP-Link routers partially support mesh, with their EAP access points. Another option is to get compatible and good quality routers and flash dd or openwrt.

For a new house, its advisable to keep provisions atleast for an ethernet wire between the modem and each Access point.
