MI TV not connecting to 2.4Ghz JioFiber. Got a new JioFiber connection 3 days ago and on the 3rd day itself - something goes wrong with the 2.4Ghz Wifi on JioFiber.
1st they gave me an old 2021 refurbished Router. I reached out to Customer support by chat, calls and also the technician who installed the router at my place - No Resolution.
I also have Airtel Xstream Fiber in my HomeTown and its services are way better than Jio.

Kindly guide me/help me on what could have gone wrong and how do I connect my MI smart android TV to 2.4Ghz Wifi router.
The TV is able to connect to other 2.4 Ghz wifi networks - so nothing wrong with the TV. Other Devices are able to connect to my 2.4Ghz JioFiber network.
The TV is in the list of "connected devices" and not blocked on the myJio App - I just renamed it. Not Sure if that made the issue happen?
I have renamed the 2.4Ghz network, changed the password, activated the 2nd 2.4Ghz wifi network but the TV Simply would not connect to it. - There is no Error, just the TV tries connecting and then stops. Looks like the Router is refusing to connect.

Much Help needed, TIA.

Even my mi cam are not connecting to jio router.
They do show on offline device list in myjio app but never connect. Lol
Update: now cam is working but smart plug not.

Try changing the name of the SSID of 2.4Ghz and try connecting, it happened with me once. You can use the app also for the same.

@timak24 check the channel on which your Jio router is broadcasting the 2.4Ghz WiFi. If same channel is not supported by your TV then you can't see and connect to that SSID on TV.
You can use WiFi Analyzer app to check the current channel of your WiFi.
You can fix a channel on Jio router that is supported on your TV. I have forgotten where that setting is hidden in the router admin panel.
