micromax canvas 2 A110 screen gone wild

I hv bought micromax canvas2 A110 from flipkart one month back. Now it is giving problem, as it automatically types random letters and open whatsapp, sms and email automatically. Sometimes it sends sms with random letters to anyone in my contact list.
Even the icons scroll automatically and it wont switch off, just keeps going on as it likes.
Any solutions or anyone else facing similar issues???

touch digitilizer has gone kaput. Better get your screen replaced at mmx service center.

got the touch replaced
android that is installed is 4.1.1 . i said this is not the latest one, he said this is the jelly bean and nothing above this version can be installed. i am confused. i think this is ice cream sandwich.

now i dont get the sound, even the music files and ringtones are without audio.
is there any setting that i need to check? i m a new user of this phone.
i hv tried different profiles like general, outdoor etc.----still the same

Man. If it was ordered less than 30 days ago, seek a replacement through Flipkart
