Even local brands like Xolo and Gionee come up with good internal storage but micromax fucks up here. Agreed you can root and try to install apps on ext SD but for average user, it should support out of the box. And it takes up almost 5GB for OS and system apps?

Well. 32GB is not exactly 32GB I am guessing it would be more like 28-29GB.

Most of the phones in Micromax/Karbonn/Wham/Celkon stable are stock products manufactured by chinese makers and labelled as 'Assembled in India'. Probably they just assemble the contents of the supplied boxes here.
Have seen a Wham WS43 phone (my FIL uses) which is the same as a Xolo A800.
