i recently bought a zen vision and i love it. When u buy mp3 players, the last thing u should go for is looks (believe me---'the last thing'!!!). if ur gonna spend 10-15 grand on one, make sure u research it out thoruoghly.

for example, creative zen has a wide range of compactible formats, including most ver of divx. ipod does not support .avi. U have to convert all video files to a compactible format before transferring it to ur ipod.

when u play videos, the zen screen is bigger (length & breadth) and richer than ipod's.
the zen is bulkier than ipod, but thats because of a longer lasting battery upto (4.5 hours video & 13-14 hours audio).

i strongly recommend u stay away from zune. its received a lukewarm review in the states (some shops did'nt sell any on the first day of release)...and its a microsoft product, its gotta be riddles with bugs!!...wait atleast a year to risk it (unless u can afford 2 players at the same time)..

some sites to go thru, although u should research urself too---->

bought a black zune already. topic closed. :P

should get my hand on it tomorrow. friend landing at the IGIA tommorow. Would pick him up. he is carrying it with him.most of my friends told me to check out creative. the company is dying. they might have good value for money products but zune has a better interface (i think from the videos online). might be making a mistake as well. zune's software application is said to be pathetic. i hope i get a simpler application to move my songs on it.a review would be total waste considering i have never used an ipod or a creative player. without any references... umm i will see what i can do!

ZunePhone Confirmed, Shipping by End of 2007

Apple is dominating the MP3 player market with their ubiquitous iPod and they hope to get the same level of infiltration with the upcoming iPhone. Microsoft isn't about to sit idly by, however, as word has the Redmond-based company seriously considering a ZunePhone. Luckily for us, it probably won't bear too much of a resemblance to this ZunePhone we found earlier this month.

According to fellow gadget-lover Jason Chen of Gizmodo, "It's almost 100% confirmed that the Zune phone is coming." This comes not only from overhearing a conversation between Microsoft execs, but also Jason's "own tipster." Interestingly, it probably will not be running on Windows Mobile, instead opting for a more Zune-like or Xbox 360-like interface. It'll probably have Live Anywhere as well, in addition to the ability to stream content from your Xbox 360.

The current ETA is late this year, giving the iPhone just a six month head start, compared to the five years the iPod has on the Zune.
