Does the message rule to cleanup OTP messages work?

I have a lot of OTP messages to cleanup, any suggestions?

No suggestions but I don't use that OTP cleanup option because I noticed it falsely detects other messages with some numbers as OTPs... so I presume it will delete those non-OTP messages too! I try to manually delete OTP messages as soon as I get them ... I don't mind if I miss some of them and they are still there.

Does anyone face an issue where notifications are not shown for some OTP messages?

When I do a card transaction I often request multiple OTPs thinking SMSs didn't arrive but when I open the app I could see all the OTPs.

I think it's maybe an issue with the android notifications settings or lag perhaps. Not issue with the app, but its just a guess based on what similar behaviour I have seen with other apps too that try to send multiple notifications in quick succession, the notifications show up not immediately.

@GKannan yes, occasionally seen that OTP notification is not displayed. But it was happening 3-4 weeks back.

@GKannan same issue, the OTP SMS is received but no notification is displayed. I too requested multiple OTPs until i realized whats going on, were you able to find a fix?

@wapenshaw Not able to find a fix. so switched to Google Messages.

yup. samsung devices has the same issue so switched to google messages long time ago. i think textra was another app that is able to lit up display to show sms notifications for otp.

When I am expecting OTP, I open SMS Organizer so I can see if new message is received, though no notification seen occasionally.
