Question : Need a mini PC recommendation for installing pfsense and doing load balancing between 2 fiber broadband ISPs

Shortlisted : as per requirements, currently this looks fine : SkullSaints Onyx: Intel 12th Gen N100 Fanless Mini Industrial PC with 4x 2.5G Intel i226 LAN

Doubt : I want to load balance between 2 fiber connections and I am not sure if the LAN ports in the above mentioned product can be used as (2 WAN + 2 LAN).

If this won't fulfill my purpose, please suggest a good Mini PC available in India that can be used to load balance 2 connections with pfsense. (Netgate is too costly for my needs - India retailer is asking for 80k INR)

Yes. Want to have load balancing + IPS + IDS + VPN support - which all gets fulfilled with pfsense.

If only load balancing was the reason then I would have preferred TP-Link ER605

@passerby have you taken skullsaints onyx or moved to something else. I also wish to switch to pfsense. Reason is load balancing and use my old router as access point as they are creating lag while using them as router with multiple device connected.

I have the older model (11th gen N5105) of this and tried opnsense (found it annoying/quirky) but openwrt (x86_64 build) was easier for me to setup - me being a networking n00b.

I did 3 WAN and 1 LAN which worked - didn't try 2 LAN but I'm sure it's doable, if not via the UI, then by editing the config files, whichever OS/tool you choose.

Quite impressed with this device - very flexible to setup of course.
