Mobile Broadband connection

Hi guys,I am visiting Ahmadabad in December for two months from Australia. I will be roaming a lot in Gujarat and other states. Can people here advise me on mobile internet/data providers and their plans.I have GPRS capable phone and laptop. Should I choose USB modem or should I choose sim with GPRS activated on it and use it via my mobile?Also, how long it takes to actually getting connection working? Wait period.Appreciate some advise.

Hello.I'd also like to have some information about mobile broadband. I'm going to visit some places from north to south of India and I'd like to know what is the provider with the best coverage.Appreciate any help.Thanks

There is no mobile broadband service available anywhere in India.mtnl has launched 3g only in delhi(by march in mumbai) and vimax will be coming soon by tata n reliance.get a usb modem by tata for ur laptop .
