I have a question (dont know if I already asked)

If today I give up subsidy and tomorrow prices rise again, can I reapply for subsidy?

Or its one time only - once given up - you can not take it back?

When enough people give up subsidies. Then Govt will change the rules and fix so & so income guideline to be eligible for subsidy. So most Middle class and lower middle class will become ineligible to apply for subsidies.

The circumstances are in Govt's favor. With Market price of LPG coming very near to subsidized price of LPG due to fall in Global Oil prices, people won't mind paying market price of LPG. Specially people who are applying for new connections.

But in few years, if Oil prices recover. Then people will have to buy 1000 Rs LPG cylinders.

lol. first they got you to get aadhaar for subsidy. now that you have aadhaar, they are taking away the subsidy.
