my guess is taking MI3 off the shelf was a deliberate strategy by flipkart, as they were trying to build up appetite for
the new Moto G.

now most of the people waiting for MI3 ( with no stock in site), may buy this phone which is 1k cheaper plus comes
with launch day offers.
