I update mine to 5.1 and had two issues, the flash light and cast icons vanished from quick settings notification drawer, I rebooted and got the flash light back. But the cast is still missing, using the chromecast app makes up for it but why need additional app when it is built in into the OS, just that the option vanished for me. Anyone else ?

Droid Turbo owners reported same in a community I follow that internal casting support was removed in its 5.1 update.

cast was never supported on moto g officially. so they removed it.

Unlocking the bootloader for Moto G is no longer supported? I'm trying to root my dad's moto g 1st gen. And the motorola unlock my device page says that my device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking.
