even on nexus 4 google now does not become the default launcher. i was confused for a while when i played with lollipop on the nexus 4... realized after a few minutes that my nexus 5 has the google now launched.

My Moto G is having issues with Wi-Fi since the crappy Lollipop update. My network is often not getting detected. I read that others are having this issue on different phones as well. Couldn't they have fixed this issue by this time...

your router will not get detected if the wifi channel is set > 11 (12-14)

On side note, Im terribly dissapointed by lollipop. Its worse on my nexus 7 , its worse on moto g. Project volta my ass.

i guess it has something to do with US FCC regulations and in lollipop they have disabled those channels. regarding battery backup i didn't find any major change from that with kitkat. i guess most of the third party apps are not yet optimized for lollipop
