MTNL Broadband: Backdated usage details

Thanks to the poster on this forum who advised about Netmeter. It has been a godsend.CAUTIONeople, its happening again..The MTNL site is lagging in details..I have downloaded 110 MB so far as per Netmeter (which i know i HAVE), but the mtnl site is showing ONLY 29MB usage..As i know for a fact that i have downloaded 100+ MB, and knowing the storm that happened last month.. i think there is going to be more sweet backdated entries this month too!!Watch your downloads (if you are on a limited plan)!PS: Is it happening to others too?

IMO if that happens again we can take MTNL to court because they should get their servers working properly or else what about those people who are innocent (I guess their must be many, as not everyone reads forums like this ).in b/w so ,is it happening in Delhi as well ?

What the hell is happening. My downlaoding has been 200+ MB, but the site is showing 49MBs!!!Lagging by 75%...What will happen to the ppl who believe the mtnl site only (as i did till last month) if the details are suddenly added before end of the month..How can ppl be blamed.. if someone is paying for a 500MB plan and know that have downloaded only 50, he/she will tend to download more.. thats human!(My case, i know i have downloaded 200, and i will stick to my scruples.. nd anyways there is the risk of backdated entries as happnd last month to some)

Guys BE CAREFUL. MTNL website was down for the weekend, was accessible just now & many entries are missing. So be careful this month for back dated entries appearing later on. :wall:

its down again. it was up in morning but i was not able to login, it kept saying "error...error .. null.. try again later".. somethign like that.

i am unable to access this site and check my download usage from last 2-3 days..

or are they incompetent to manage their mtnl account website for their customers.

i called up 1504 and nobody knows that the site is down. they saying my computer may have virus.. :wall:

well its online,nowBut there have been no entries updated after 11 June 2008so be carefullanother round of back dated entries i suspect

thanks. i just checked my usage. no entries from 11th except today's. if they decide to add backdated entries then lets hope they dont add entries at the end of month

My case is different. Been able to access the website daily.. but its record is lagging..Interesting thing is that it has not missed any day per se.. its showing internet sessions daily (right upto today, no issue of missed days in my usage), but maximum session recorded is 1:30 hrs when i have been using net at least 3-4 hrs per day!@amishNothing personal bro, but is it really a laughing matter?? Hard cash is involved. Sm1 on this thread mentioned he got a shocker of 5000 last month.If this had been happening in the US, there would have been hellfire...A few points to ponder...a) If it had been a technical glitch, have they not been able to fix it up yet over 50 days now??b) Have they informed ALL customers, that the website is having technical problems and the usage it is showing shud not be relied upon? Unlike the previous posters, i AM being able to access site and it is getting updated daily, only wrongly.c) Refer to the ethical point i raised in one of my earlier posts.. In such a scenario, (and considering that 'b' above is most likely to be negative), is backdated usage updating ethically justified?
