MTNL Broadband: Cannot open broadbandforum.co directly??

Many other sites are not opening including MSN messenger :madness:. Today for sometime in the morning all 4 dns servers I know of were down :wall:. I wonder whats happening @ MTNL now a days.:cry:
 
so why does this happens with MTNL users only ??:frown:

but why do ppl use MTNL DNS? just switch to OpenDNS.

Excuse me for asking. Is it safe to do internet banking/payments etc thru OpenDNS. I am a bit hesitant about using an 'unknown devil' :)
 
opendns is not a proxy server. it just converts a domain name into the server IPs. so it's safe. in fact opendns gives you protection from malware like conficker. so its safer than mtnl or any other dns servers.
 

yep. infact it also tells u if u or ur network has conficker virus.

@Topic. Not only broadbandforum. A day before rediff.com wasn't accessible either. I have to refresh my page twice to get the full view of broadband forum

Is it safe enough to enter open dns and replace with the router's dns add?
