MTNL Broadband: Netgear DG834G V6 cant connect wireless

i m having this router and i own Acer aspire 4720z which having atheros ar5007eg adapter, when i connected laptop using wired connection it works just fine. but when i tried to connect wirelessly my adapter dosn't find any available network. heres the thing i have did.1 updated atheros latest driver.2 disable firewall.3 wireless setting as region - asia, Channel - 11, Mode - g & b, security option disabled,4 running windows xp professional.the router conncet mtnl through wired conncetion fine, but my laptop wont scan wireless networkplz help me guys .

Start/Network /WLAN
If it appears
properties
Wireless Network settings
On top
Wlan card box appears
click "configure"
select enable .
Recheck "Advanced" settings' ssid AP etc.
