MTNL Unlimited Plans

City: Mumbai
Package: DSL_Unlimited_995_Combo
Cost per Month: 995 + Taxes @ 12.5% (I rarely go over the 25 free call limit)
Positive Points:

[*]This is a combo plan - for those who don't really need a landline except for the odd call, you don't have to take a separate landline plan
[*]I was previously on the Combo_Unlimited_1000 plan which had throttling after 30 GB of usage - found this very irritating.
[*]Night speed of 2 Mbps - and the special offer seems to keep getting extended on a monthly basis so that's good

Nothing really - lately it has become slow, but that might just be a technical problem affecting everyone.

General View:
I hate throttled plans - 30 GB is NOT a fair download limit, (neither is 1-2 Mbps a fair speed, but we are in India and have come to accept this)

WHat service tax and other charges does MTNL charge in New Delhi? I might switch over to MTNL, have to give these details to my office before i get a go ahead from them. I can't find this info on the dumb MTNL site.
