When connected through LAN wire everything works fine.
1.Check up the settings for the wireless lan card in the laptop. Mention details
2.Or start All programs/ Accessories/Communications/ Wireless network set up wizard.
3. Check in Network wireless network is available.

Ref :D-Link DSL-2640B ADSL2/2+ Modem with Wireless Router sorry wrong model. select at the Lnksys website. The model number you have specified is not listed.
Brief Info :
The D-Link ADSL2/2+ Modem with Wireless Router (DSL-2640B) is a 3-in-1 device that combines the function of a high-speed DSL modem, wireless G access point, and 4-port Ethernet router.

The Router model is correct and I am having the same issue with BSNL Broadband bangalore. the settings are similar. With AIRTEL i never had this problem . But BSNL Cust care is pathetic.
