MTNL Delhi Triband 256 Kbps - How to configure vonage

Dear all I am based in usa and have installed MTNL triband DSL connection at my mother's place in New delhi. We would like to use the net connection exclusively for talking on the phone without the computer. I have my other sister ,who is in UK would also like to be in the network. So i have few questions ,which could be addressed on this forum only..(if the question has already been answered ,the please post me the link ) 1. Does MTNL Delhi , block VOIP services ? If yes , what is the best way to bypass it? 2. Do I need to have a computer to use vonage services? Can any handset work? 3.Last year ,I took a vonage adapter from my friend (unactivated) in usa to delhi .What steps do I have to take to get the vonage activated. 4. Is it possible to do conference with my sister in UK and my mother in Delhi with vonage? I am the least tech savvy girl..who is paying over $200 per month to talk to my parents in india. Pleaese help me to get the answers.It would be genuinely appreciated. Thanks TxGal

1) No way Mtnl Delhi don't block anything. So it is a freeway no need for bypass. Infact many ppl including me using it successfully.2) Well it depends becoz u might be or might not need 2 change the settings.India dsl works on pppoe with dyanamic ip address.3) For that you better ask vonage......most ppl bring in the activated and tested one here.4)Well conference is do possible and its feature of vonage.... nothing 2 do with Mtnl.Hope this much helps.
