MTNL Delhi users - pls try this and post result

yap! this seems to be a problem from the server side..yesterday from 9:30 to today morning my internet was not getting connected at all...things seems to be fine as of now.

@ above you must have the gateways as 59.178.191.254 I scanned few ips and peeked in to the routers log of mtnl connections and found authorization failed is specific to few gateways and not everyone is facing it. Now i gotta get my gateway changed, oh wait is it even possible.

One of my friend living close to my house has a 256k unlm plan with dynamic ip is on same gateway and gets no authorization error whatsoever , i got my line changed, as there were few joints in it but that hasn't solved the problem.

Authorization failed is not due to line problems. It is usually due to Server side issues. Maybe the server is down but the message shown in Route Logs is Auth Failure. It has happened to me as well. But it gets corrected by itself.
