MTNL Modem showing different reactions???

My mtnl modem a semindia, type b i guess, does not connect to internet in one of the rooms at home! i have 3 ports(RJ-11) in total, in the first one, the drawing room, it works pretty nicely, in my bedroom, there are frequent disconnections, after 12 but good speeds! in the last bedroom, no disconnections and high speeds. is there a problem in the parallel lines or the modem(unlikely) please reply guys :ishock:

this is extremely strange. From your description, it appears that there is just one modem with 3 LAN ports. I really can't imagine how using computers on different LAN ports causes disconnections.Is any of those computers a laptop? Perhaps you can try using one of the computers that is working well in the room where you experience frequent disconnections. Do this without making any changes in the network configuration. Have you tried accessing shares between those 3 computers?

no the nodem has 4 lan ports, i was talking of the phone line RJ-11, i have 3 parallel lines, today i didnt face many disconnections, working nicely right now
