If your internet keeps on working then it might be a feature so that the light doesn't bother some people.

My Huawei router has a feature that allows me to set timings for the lights. After 10 PM, all router lights turn off and at 7 AM they turn back on. This feature ensures that the lights do not disturb my sleep at night. It’s a great feature to have.

Recently got this router as replacement to Huawei router, anyway to keep the light dim all day? As the light is way too much for my dark environment.

Stick a paper with tape, if you dont have software option. Can be easily removed later.
