My Family TV: Exploring Protection Plans

Hello Peeps,

I'm on a bit tight budget and considering buying a realme 4K android tv, since I've kids at home. I'm but worried about the tv getting damaged. There are bunch of protection plans out there like acko, onsite, servify etc. But my buddy recommended servify and I'd love to hear your thoughts too.

Mi seems to have survived all the policy attacks. Vu has been here for a while. TCL is there. LG and Samsung are of course always safe. Sony in premium segment.

wont ever recommend samsung got my panel changed twice in warranty period . Now using Sony from last 2 years and its perfect.

My parents have had a good experience with Hisense. They make panels for a lot of brands. Vu just rebrands their TVs.

Purchase from company store and take their extended warranty. Third party is always going to be dicey. If they are good today, they might not be one year from now. I bought offline and it came with third party extended warranty. Not hoping much from it.

Isn't the OP concerned about their children damaging the TV? That's not going to be covered by warranty no? Extended or otherwise. They need a device protection plan/insurance. Do TV companies even offer that?
