Today i got my first broadband bill. It is about 1091 /- . I got my broadband connection on 24 May 2014. It is Combo ULD 650 plan. The modem is not for rent. Can any one justify my bill details. Please.

Sorry bill not yet received. I got a message on my phone that the bill is 1091 rupee. Can you please make predictive guess about my bill details.
It's 1 month line rental in advance as a security + pro rata charge for the 8 days of May. The security deposit can be adjusted at the time of disconnection with the last bill or refunded if the amount due is less.

Do you know how much percentage the tax is?. Also What is 175 pro rated? I didn't understand. Will i have to Security Deposit for BB and Advance Monthly Rental for BB.? How much does they cost.?mhsabir said:
Monthly 675 = Daily 22 approx. For 8 days of May, it would be approx 175. There is no advance monthly rental in BSNL. Security deposit is there and that would be 1 month of your rent, i.e. 675. Tax is around 12% I believe. Rs. 250 Installation charges are there if its a brand new connection . If you already had a landline, or there is some ongoing offer you may not be charged this or may have been charged a different amount.
