My Netconnect BB+ works fine with Lenova but not withHP

Hi, I am using EC 1260 BB+ modem. It works fine with Lenova - WinXP professional. But when I am trying to use it with HP Win XP Home, It didnt work. I mean, the device is detected and installed but there is no signal. I checked the settings of the modem and everything looks perfect. It shouldn't be a signal issue as both the Laptops are at home and one works fine with the same device. When I enquired with cust care, they simply ignored that its the problem with the Laptop. Could anyone help me/guide me here? Is there any USB driver updates need to be done?

Well cc ppl r correct...they only provide da n/w service and if one of ur laptop doesn't detect it u might hav not installed it properly on it.....Install the modem drivers correctly & it will work properly coz untill & unless u do so it won't be able to get the network signals.

Try putting the datacard in a different USB slot, i had this kind of issue on my brothers Dell laptop, he had another data card earlier, so if i put my rel datacard in the usb slot where he put his old datacard, it would nt detect at all. Changing the usb slot fixed the issue.
