Welcome To The Vi Family @Trex Bro
Do share your experience with Vi after using it for few days and do share your feedback by creating a new thread.
Also let us know about Vi vs Jio & Airtel in your area after using it. #SpeedSeBadho
Vi is now the underdog and I do sympathise with them just a little bit after experiencing their arrogance back in the heydays. Though today's situation is of their Mgmt's own doing. We customers actually need them to survive..strange but true. It would be terrible if Vi died and we had a powerful duopoly screwing us customers over nicely.
currently market is seeing positive growth, pnb and yes shares are also + compared to last year. Actually pnb is almost double from previous year.
Btw, I ported my jio to vi and will be activated till 16.
A secret...I got my 1st mobile connection in 1999 Rs 16 outgoing, 12 incoming with Idea Cellular or Birla AT&T as it was known back then. Those were the days when we gave missed calls like there was no tomm and refused to pick up an incoming call unless we knew the caller personally. Some of you may remember pagers...we started using cell phones for more or less the same functionality. Cell phones were more style than a communication device.
@netomato I hope they are reading. I wish they would ditch the Idea and yellow from their branding and just be Vodafone. It looks like Vodafone married Birla and took his last name Idea. They should work towards making their network only 4g++ and 5g.
Well, on the other hand, Airtel has taken over the RED color as their own and Jio the blue color and BSNL the yellow. So... lots for them to think about in the area of marketing and standing out.
Now here in Kerala, they kick us out of 4g and latch onto 3g and 2g and stand out like that too much. It is like a special feature of giganet.
Then it's probably not a good experience for Kerala users. Have you complained about it?
I mean have you met with their network team?
Because of you complain via Twitter then their network guy will call you and I want to tell you that you should once meet him personally (when he comes to your premises to check network).
Ask him anything you want to ask.
He has all the control of bandwidth/tower raido change from his laptop.
If needed he can climb to the tower to change the direction of the antennas.
@Lolita_Magnum Don't you think everyone is red these days?
I mean if we buy Jio sim it will have mostly red colour. In fact in my area all Jio sim packets and cards are of red colour Along with shop banners etc.
Airtel is also red.
Vi is also red and yellow where red is more prominent.
BSNL's app is yellow
But violet is a great colour but I don't think it will make people connect with Vi as they associate them with red.
