Need additional router suggestions for my new Airtel connection with ZTE F670LV9.0 for coverage issue

An AC1200 router might just suffice for OP needs right? He will be hardwiring the router to his floor anyways, might just do the job at somewhat a reasonable price?

Yup. That's what I told them, they just need an AP something for 2K like Mi 4A will do too.

I'll take iperf3 or any single threaded download with simple tools with no magic.

Yes. I have 2 Nokia ONTs, 1 Linksys Wrt1900AC, 1 TP-Link Ac1750 and one AC1200 hard wired on 1G+3F home. And I get full speed (Max supported by device) anywhere in my home.


Just use any 1200AC router, that would suffice your need on a single floor. Remember to place it in the center of your floor.

My speeds on 1Gbps airtel plan, signal strength 3 bars. Max displayed phy speed 1.1 gbps.

So will Archer A6 do the trick? I'm getting 1 bar on 5GHz and 4 bars on 2.4GHz.

I have the A6, it goes till 400-500 with good signal strength.

Decent not cheap. ~400 is pretty good for 2.5k

Magic? I don't get that? And I used the WifiMan cross device test, used to get similar results from iperf3.. don't remember much though.
