Need advice on device to monitor Blood Pressure

So my Dad's doctor told him to get a home kit to monitor blood pressure. I am totally clueless about these devices.
If anyone has got these devices, can you advice which is a better brand and what to look for.
Also, should I get it offline or online.
 
getting the strap correctly is the hard part. after that you just need to press the button on the measuring device.
if the values are weird, strap is not wrapped properly. takes a bit of practice. if the shoulder bit is too thick, you might need to find a model with a larger strap.

Yes, have Omron in our house too. Although model might be bit different from above one. They just work and reliable. Also I donno if they make them, but see if you can get one with a AC adapter. Replacing batteries on these is a real pain.

You have to take almost 2-3 readings (if the BP is too high, too low or absurd) to have an idea about the actual BP as these machines are known to be inaccurate.
