Need clarification on billing

Hi,I am new to use broadband connection at home.I am shocked to see my bill above 1K!!! for 4 days of usage!!!!!!I only got bill thru postage. I donot have detail bill. I requested for it while I was filling the form. I have taken home plan 500. I have not used landline.But I donot know how come I can get such a big amount only for 4 days.???I need to call CC, but I want to understand what's the billing procedure.Is there any way to overcome this?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Asha

Please contact your exchange and get an additional
usage portal Id ( 14digit alphanumeric and default password
passsword).
Check your usage for unbilled current mont or
billed other months ( 6 months data available)

its better to first check your portal as mentioned by essbebe , then you would know whether the amount is for your usage or any other charge like security deposit or modem charges or installation charges etc
