I need to recharge for an old lady who is in a remote place where I can't visit in person now. I don't know the exact plan or package it is subscribed to. I know the account ID and registered phone number. Currently, it costs around Rs.300 per month. So, if I add Rs.300 (or Rs350) to the registered phone number, will the expiry date get extended by a month?

@pothi yes it does my airtel dth plan id of I guess 180 or something like that just the basic and I recharge it with rs 1000 and it basically works till date balance is exhausted. ALL DTH deduct balance on a daily basis monthly recharge is just for you to have a idea . you may recahrge any amount you like.

That shouldn't matter right? They cut balance on a daily basis. Tata is same. I recharge 500 and it reduces on a daily basis. They have increased minimum recharge to 200 from 100 though!

Quick update: I came to know that we can check the actual balance and the expiry date of the existing pack from any phone number by sending an SMS to 54325 with the text "BAL 3456789012". 3456789012 should be replaced with the actual customer ID (that starts with 3 and has 10 digits).

I went on and did a top-up for around Rs.300. The validity was successfully postponed by a month.

Thanks again everyone! 🙏🙏🙏

Can anyone tell me how airtel multi connection works ? Will I be able recharge each connection separately ?
