i not able to login to 192.168.1.1
the page doesn't open(not even username/password dialog)
i have tried in all browsers......pls help
i want to add wap key in my wifi.

R u sure ur router IP address is 192.168.1.1 ? i mean to say some router have different default ip address. Which router r u using? if u r sure about ur ip address, restart your router then then try. it should work file.

yes i am sure........bsnl person is saying somebody has changed the setting of ur modem...they even cannot reset it:evil:

Which Modem or router are u using???

There will be a hole behind it labeled as RESET ..just keep it pressed for 10secs when the modem is ON.

Are u trying this with chrome for first time??
If yes try with IE or Firefox. I have faced same problem when I migrated to Chrome for first time.

Enter these values in TCP/ IP properties IP address : 192.168.1.1Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0Default gateway : 192.168.1.1Now try 192.168.1.1 in your browser. If it is not working, type your IP address and check.

Mention your Modem/router details.
( also add in your Public Profile )
2.
Seems you can connect to Internet and surf.
If so, check your Dynamic IP.
Current IP Check
Type it in the address bar.
A window will open asking for ID/PW
to access the modem/router. usually.

3.Copy/Paste this data here ( No edit )
Start RUn type cmd Ok
New window opens
Type ipconfig /all note space after ipconfig
