Need help configuring Belkin N300 router

Are you trying to attach the router to the modem ? Or is it a ADSL modem+Router ?
 
Go to http://www.belkin.com/in/ & search for your model and download the manual. There isn’t much in it which is pathetic. Have a look at http://socrates0.blogspot.in/ & have a look at the different units described there. The screen shots/make/models are different but the basic fundas are the same. I stopped being interested in this company’s products as I was told in Croma that their service is poor also when I visited their website the info is at best scanty hence I avoid Belkin. Some thing to remember which are MTNL specific is
Change the VPI = 0 & VCI = 32 for MTNL Mumbai (these values which are used to define a unique path for your connection). MTU is 1492.
 
Yea..explained well on top. Change from DCHP to PPPoE,
Username :Ur phone no. xxxxxxxxxx or xxxxxxxxx@a
Password : ur CA number - Found on your bill
VPI/ VCI as mentioned above
MTU - As mentioned above.
 
I would suggest flashing it with DD-WRT. I have done it. It is not a very stable router though...
 

Even if dd-wrt did support my router, I would probably wait until the warranty period was finished before I tried anything. I dont want to mess up a brand new piece. :nono:
