Need Help regarding Marriage Certificate

I applied for marriage certificate under tatkaal last Wednesday, yet it is still pending for decision. Any clue how much time it might take? The SDM Dwarka office is useless as they keep saying they have election duty and can't approve right now.
 
If you have already visited the SDM office then I don't think you will be able to do much. I am assuming that you are trying to get the marriage certificate for a Visa application. If yes, then the wedding card will also work for that purpose.
 
Are you sure about the wedding card thing? I applied via IDP and they told me that I will need the certificate.
 
Which country are visa are you looking for. I have used wedding card for Singapore.
 
I had a tourist visa. But student visa and Australia, they may be more strict.
 
I had done it for a Work Visa for UK and they definitely required the official marriage certificate with the QR code.

OP - did you try raising a grievance on the Delhi Government portal? That might speed it up.
