My friend paid 10k to an online store and order 4-5 clothing products. She kept only one and returned others due to quality issues and fitting.
Now the online store has given 8k as store credit which expires in 6 months. Their stock is not good right now and well she cannot spend this store credit, it's been a month already.
So asked for refund in bank account but the store is refusing. 8k is a decent amount that cannot be ignored.
This store is also collecting GST without GST number or store added.
I have started with consumer helpline website complain. And payment processor which is useless but just for the record. On consumer helpline site saw an option for online court case filing it's free and virtual thinking to go for that option next. (E-Daakhil)
I wanted to give this store opportunity to refund and save everyones time but it seems they have decided to just ignore.
Legally just by mentioning we don't issue refund a store should not be able to deny refund right? They can put anything is terms but that's not legal right?
