Dell is being an ass when it comes to providing support even on their premium monitors. the above case is a good example. the guy has received multiple 'replacements' all of them were different model. all of them were used units. one of them was a rejected unit by another customer.

@anant.del read some reviews of monitors at anandtech.com .. and then talk :\

the reason why i am saying is that the contrast ratio is most cheap low end monitors is dynamic... only good monitors like HP proworks which cost 40k+ for a 19inch screen have proffesional grade colour reproduction and static contrast ratio...
as far as TN panels are concerned.. TN panels have very few proper viewing angles... and i said above 75HZ not 60 ...
IPS panels have a lower response time but that has no relation with the refresh rate of the monitor... also i am a gamer and use a samsung syncmaster 920NW which has a response of 8ms.. using a 2ms response time monitor wont make any difference to your reflexes.... the body cant react that fast...

IPS panels do have LAGG...thats a fact..

u go nd read some good reviews on latest IPS monitors which cost more than $1800 nd response time of 2ms or less if u read cheap nd outdated u get that only :D

zzzzz dude you said " lol....when it has ever been told by co. fully that u will get xtly what they have written anyways all these 3 monitors have been tested that I have mentioned have and performed extremity well in various tests done by websites and close to their actual result.....plus who told u IPS monitors can only get 60+......there are TN monitor doing it aswell......IPS might be better though but u need to have atleast 25k-30k to buy the cheapest monitor ....... " i am only saying 1. the ratio is dynamic (check it on anandtech.com) 2. the refresh rate is 75+
