Need to connect 2 computer on bridge mode for internet

Hi,
I am using airtel 8mbps plan. I need to share it with 2 pc's (wireline connection via ethernet) via a beetle 220bx modem. I want the dialer mode (bridge mode) and not PPPOE mode. Is it possible to use beetle 220bx modem and use the ethernet line for one pc and USB cable for other pc?.
I will not use a wifi modem. If the 220bx wil not work then a multiple port modem work in bridge mode(dialer mode). I want to store the password in the pc and not the modem for security.

you can connect 2 pc's with 220bx (one with ethernet & one with usb). if you use bridge mode you can only dial from one pc at a time. afaik you cant use internet from both pc at the same time. only if you use pppoe mode you can use internet in both the pc's at the same time. and one more thing, the usb driver is stable only in win xp.

Can i use a switch and connect it to my single bettle 220bx modem and then use one ethernet from switch to my 1st pc and second ethernet to 2nd pc. Will bridge mode work with beetle 220bx+switch?
