Bought an wifi router (Asus) and I've set it up. Now I want to see what devices are connected to it and are downloading/uploading data in real time. In short, an wi-fi management program for windows 7.
Googled around a bit and found some programs. Wanted to take your opinion since Iam a noob at wifi routers and this is my first router.

Some of the routers offer this feature in their inbuilt firmware.

I am not exactly sure if you can do it from one of the machines connected to the router itself. Unless that program is accessing the data directly from the router itself. Largely because the data is not being processed through your machine in this case but the router itself.

Yup. Found out the way to see devices connected to it.
Other question: Is there any way to access files on my pc through my tab or laptop over wi-fi?
I do this all the time.
from my Android phone/tablet I access PC using ES File Explorer.
However to Access phone from PC, I prefer running FTP Explorer of above mentioned file manager and then connect to it from browser/ftp client running on comp.
