Nekteck 5.4A USB-C Car Charger

Posting about this because this is the only car charger that Benson Leung has recommended until now. Basically a safe option for USB-C enabled smartphones. Not sure if it is a safe option for USB-C laptops though.

I have placed an order for this through iShop and I hope to get it next week. I hope it works well because one of the reviewer indicated that he got a flawed unit that made a continues. iShop means that it would be expensive to get a replacement.

This one has a permanently attached USB-C cable and a slot for regular USB port that can be used for other devices.

Got mine today. Appears to work. Did not try Ampere. Would post Ampere screenshots when I get a chance. I have not driven the car in many weeks now :\

Not sure if it would go any higher if the battery charge was around 10%.

fuck my life. even this charger is likely to have major faults so do not buy it.
