Netflix now directly peered with Excitel Broadband

Netflix has started peering with Excitel now (just like google). Also the open connect has some strict bandwidth requirement. It means that excited now has somewhat better bandwidth and reach.

wait. netflix was always included their list of peered services 🤔 when they actually highlighted peered services on the packages!

or maybe not. wtf. lol.

It used to be served through Extreme-IX Delhi. That also is technically "peering" but this is even a level above. Where they install OCA in Excitel Server location directly

Which is served via extreme-ix
 
can't touch 100mbps on fast.com though.
 


I don't think that will be possible with their current CAT5(e) based cabling for ethernet connections. Should reach close to 100 though
 
I am getting around 75- 82 mbps download speed on 100mbps plan where as 90+ mbps upload speed with Cat 5 cable with 2 wiring. Are you guys also getting same issue or is this fine ?
