I have flashed gapps modded rom available from the JioFiber Group in Telegram. Now removing all jio related apps. Don't need security updates on this device as there is no mic or web cam to worry about.

Nice. I have flashed the custom rom and removed the system apps which gave Jio control like remote access / fimware pushing to the device. I will not update the device. I am not much concern about the security as this device is isolated and don't have mic/webcam access.

Nope it's not possible as the STB itself can't do more than 100. Many amlogic tv boxes are limited to megabit speeds but this wouldn't be a big deal as even 8K content won't be able to utilise 100 Mbps.
