New Airport of Hyderabad

This is the new international airport which is being constructed (near shamshabad,Hyderabad) by A.P.Govt in collaboration with G.M.R.Group and Malaysia Airports. G.M.R.Group holds major stake in this airport. Construction of this airport is almost finished(95%) and it is to be inaugurated on 16-March 2008. Bad News is, Begumpet airport which is now in use, is going to be closed permanently, on the same day. In my view, old airport should be used for domestic air transport. please express your views against this issue.

Hah! I hate new airports. I cud walk from the begumpet airport to ShoppersStop buy somthing and fly back so convenient. & compartivly eazy than to walking b/w domestic terminal at delhis domestic arport

damn the new airport is situated far far away from the Main city .. its like indian pakistan distance...now i have to leave home 12hrs before. terrific trafic & security checking:wall:
