I jsut called them re this in BLR and was told- would have to pay Rs.333 upfront for installation- after 1 month Rs.999 or less depending on number fo days- after 2 month Rs.999 + 333 (registration)- after 3 months Rs.999 + 333 (registration)- after 4 months Rs.999This is what it costs under their promo plan.That is for the 128K Unlimited plan.

what is the difference between LAN modem and USB modem??

1 enters the network card. other the USB port. one needs no login, the other needs login. one takes away the capability to setup webserver/ftpserver the other does not

How satisfied are users with the LAN modem option ?Does the connection hold for days on end ? Or does it drop the connection regularly.I'm having to consider LAN as my laptop does not do USB2, and my experience with USB netowrking has not been too good.
