New Airtel modem, anyone? Its a Huwaei modem.

hey, i jus blew up my beetel 220bx...:redface: , so the guys came over and gave me a new modem. its a Huwaei modem. model SmartAX MT880. does anyone else have it? couldnt find another thread with it, so started this. please post reviews of it. il post photos later.

Interested to checkup whether Airtel has updated the FW.

Well documented MT880/MT882.
No data required , as this is a very old modem
in use by BSNL/russian users for years !

ya.i have taken a new connection and they gave me Huawei smartAX MT880. i think it is joint partnership with micromax also because it had a print of micromax over modem

Using the MT880 [Micromax] from Bharti Airtel Since Nov 2008. And the MT882[Huawei] from BSNL since March 2006. Both modems are being used in the Bridge Mode. No issues with either of them.
