new and upcoming english movie channels in india and big tv

does anybody have an idea as to when mgm channel,cinemax and other hbo channels like hbo hits,hbo family etc come to india and on big tv?

If they apply for downlink permision from IB then we would see those channels in 6 months but they not come in India.

yes but it was in today's news that mgm channel would be distributed in india by star den alliance any chance of it coming to big tv?what happened to the new english movie channel that was to be launched by hbo in aug?are they waiting for more players to enetr the dth market in india?another question there are only 9 pay per view channnels in big tv and the total cinema channels accounts to 29(9 ppv+10 hindi movie channel+10 regional movie channel )what happened to the other two channels?

Well as of now all new channel request are pending and govt has not approved any, i don't see these channels airing so soon

I think MGM already has permission to downlink in India, because its already on DISH platform, There was news that MGM is going to penetrate to cable and will be distributed thru STARDEN. Hope fully it comes on other DTH's also Like BIG and TS.

Yes it will come as it only 3Rs channel for DTH:dance:
