New EVDO connections - Roaming Activated?

I live in the Ashok Nagar area (KK Nagar BSNL exchange) of Chennai.I have been using BSNL EVDO for a few months. When I bought this card -Nationwide roaming was not available. Now that this is available - is it possible to reconfigure my exisiting evdo modem for nation wide roaming? I enquired with KK Nagar exchange and they are clueless.Alternately if we buy a new EVDO modem now - will it support national roaming?Please help

Yes ,
Roaming is activated for the EVDO cards.

To make it work , you need to change the user name

addd @aaabg.in , instead of just the phone number.
