Everything is on autoplay. Earlier (most likely now too) if you would put autoplay shit on your site it was considered bad experience and google would penalize your site. Now google is doing the same shit.
They just want you to get sucked into random short videos which are mostly meme or just useless stuff because we'll you cannot fit very useful info in short videos and when you have watched 50 such videos within an hour you won't remember anything.

Oh yes, social networks are more annoying than entertaining these days. I see on Instagram and Facebook a lot of advertisements and recommending posts by people I don't know and haven't subscribed to. It's exhausting. I liked the older versions of these social networks better.
