New MTNL Triband Connection

Even in that case where you have a landline, there were delays from MTNL's side due to non-availability of routers, lack of bandwidth capacity at local exchange etc etc. However, the time frame is still a bit dicey as u know... its MTNL... its unpredictable!

guys..!! r u talking about getting a Landline and BB after that??i was assuming that u guys already had their landline at your home and it takes a long time for BB connection??:huh:..hmm, i have no idea how much time it takes for landline in Delhi.....i was talking about BB if u already have Landline, it takes not more than 3 or 4 days..

I presumed dark_horizan said he did not have a MTNL connection....

and 3 - 4 months for just BB....:wall:.... i would never take MTNL even if they provide me wid 5 mbps... :redface:

I do have a landline connection. Just want the BB connection.

the guy from MTNL DSA came and collected the documents today evening...so it will go to MTNL office tomorrow...let's see how long it takes...

buddy dont worry.....the mtnl guys(...atleast delhi) arent that bad..... i got my connection (with landline) within 2 days....... just phone em once....and ur local guy once........

since you have the line.... an if the guys are not turning up you can go one step ahead buy the modem and then tell them that all they have to do is do the connections which hardly takes like 2 mins.....

Well, that's wot i did, i went up n bought a Linksys WAG200G (modem & WiFi-router integrated). Only prob is i dont have a splitter. Will this be provided by MTNL mumbai or will have i have to buy it, since in the form i specified "No CPE required"???
