Hi - Our 31 years old Sumeet Mixer Grinder developed a problem recently. I have located a nearby shop to get it repaired. But venturing out is still a problem in these times.

We also have a new Morphy Richards grinder mixer but it is not great (makes weird noises) and has poor quality parts. The 'legs' at its bottom are already falling apart.

So I am in the market for a new mixer grinder machine (>= 750 watts for dry haldi grinding). Have you found a mixer grinder machine which is reliable?

Thanks! :)

Thanks!

https://www.amazon.in/Sujata-Powermatic-Watts-Juicer-Grinder/dp/B071113J7M/ has great reviews. Reviews / QAs says that it can be used for dosa batter.

This video shows that it can even grind haldi (turmeric). Crazy good.

We don't want the juicer stuff. So perhaps Sujata Dynamix DX Mixer Grinder / Sujata SuperMix SM Mixer Grinder models might be better for me?

I had quite a few bad experiences with Bajaj appliances and they have been completely banned from my home. Even to such an extent that if any company uses Bajaj's repair network I won't be buying that product. Like Murphy Richard's.

Had the same experience with bajaj appliances, anything bought of that brand at my home had to be thrown off within a year or two. Bajaj for me is big NO.

for me bajaj has quite impressive experience using bajaj fx11 food processor since 2015 still didn't pay for anything even for attachments too

I think we have gone thru a lot ot brands after sumeet became unavailable in the market. All of them were problematic to day the least. Currently we are using a Philips, few days ago the chutney jar was repaired by a local shop as it had begun to scream in agony. The worst experience was a Prestige mixer which when grinding coriander leaves suffered a broken blade , which went knocking around in the jar & at that time is was just a couple of days old.

@Samuel Wont find anything better in India IMO. You can choose other options based on your requirement of attachments like Powermatic Plus, Supermix, Multimix etc, the base remains the same only the attachments provided vary between these. You can probably also buy any attachments later from the offline market.

Just heard from a friend who bought a mixer recently. He remembers this make being present in the shop & was actively discouraged from opting for it. Shopkeeper was keenly pushing Prestige & Philips. 😑 So he bought Prestige 🤦‍♂️
