New Sify Broadband Speeds

yo lucky man... i rarely touched 4 KBps and i am on ur line!

ch...ch....ch.....choo chaad for u guysanways, i am chpeeding down the info chooperhighway @ 120 kbps, the surfing speed does begin to crawl sometimes, but downloads@ 9.5-10 kbps and i intend to make the most of it while it lasts.... i hope that for me it lasts a little longer than u guys.sify, is choo chweet {jus' for now.......}

grrr... seems like i am the biggest loser on sify at the moment.

hmm... net is finally working fine. just my sites... which include this forum, sify blog and my personal sites and client sites are coming slow. and the server load shows that the sites are otherwise running fine. i am going to kill sify tommorow mornign...bhinder, u are on the same network. i had like you to check out the access time to the sites mentioned in my footer. would appreciate the gesture.

Yesterday it was down when i came from work...kinda strangeYesterdaymorning, i checked speed: MAX 3kB/s I left it on downloading all day.. i came home late evening,around 10:30pm, and it was still downloading @ 2.8kB/s I restarted my comp and after that i couldnt login anymore , some error and it was totally deadNow , today,this morning, checking internet again: it worked and now @ 7 ~8.5kB/s i wonder what these guys are doing over there...

Anything can be the cause,

u know that we are really being stupid, talking about 1 or 2kB/s more or less ?

Where i come from we only 'whine' about the connection if theres a difference of 200kB/sec :lol: if u get 500 insted of 800kB/s

( i know, this is India, but still.. )

Before this "powerfull upgrade" i reached almost 5kB/s so... almost teh same

Just devide the kbps by 8 and then u get kiloBytes... that will be your speed then

Right now im jealous @ that screenshot, u get at least 0.15kB/s more then me
