I am using NextDNS over airtel’s default dns to have some control over ad blocking. The latency I get to nextdns in cmd is 80ms and ofcourse to airtel it is very less. Is using nextdns going to make my browsing or gaming experience a slower? or fast? you can prefer me a dns to have some control over my network on router level.

Use Google DNS (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 or 1.0.0.1) OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220). If you are concerned about privacy use Cloudflare or OpenDNS. But Google is the fastest.

@Chip but by using google dns or cloudflare dns, I wont be able to block sites and make modifications to my network.

What sites do you want to block? You can block certain sites in the router itself atleast in my Asus router it is possible. It depends on the make and model of your router.
