no internet access - yellow exclamation

pon light - ok , tel(voice) - no light comes .
no internet access for hours now - this happens sometimes , and internet comes next day but any idea what to do in between?
trouble shoot diagnosis says -some problem with dns server - not responding
 
that means your connection to OLT is fine but from OLT to BSNL backend router is not.
 
@Ajay15 is it bad of bsnl or olt ? i mean lco ? somtimes this happens and it takes like more than 10-24 hours to get back , or it can be a cable fault anywhere ? mostly weekends kinda have this as i remember when ever this happen, it was mostly a weekend
 
You dont get LOS means your connectivity to OLT is fine as I said earlier.
It depends if your LCO has put OLT in BSNL exchange or somewhere else. If it is in BSNL exchange only, then mostly the issue is from backend since there is chance of fiber cut. If OLT is placed in some other place and LCO took fiber up-link from exchange to his OLT site, it is mostly because of fiber(up-link) cut.
 
now again sunday - no internet access ! and on sundays no one picks the call and not working on field , and only on damm weekends i would get this crap .friday night , saturday midnight then its over only monday afternoon i would get it back - sometimes its diggers , sometimes its cable tv guys ..
it would be better if they take off at weekdays and work patrolling on weekends -anyways whos gona listen to break the weekend knock off pattern !
 
The weekend failing is common for BSNL FTTH. It can be either Saturday or Sunday, but mostly Sundays.
As far as I can tell, there is no digging or cable TV guys.
However, the BSNL FTTH fails randomly. It comes back in a few hours or on Monday.
